After weeks of endless rain and a summer that just wouldn't get going, Independence Day finally arrived like the guest of honor who knows how to make an entrance. The sun showed up in all of its blazing glory, turning the lake into the perfect spot for everyone who'd been stuck inside dreaming of boating days. July 4th was basically summer FINALLY showing up and reminding us just how good it feels to just kick back and appreciate our freedom. God Bless America!
